Ingredients
Wings:
1 kg TOK wings
5 tablespoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons black pepper
Sauce:
½ onion (sliced)
1 carrot (sliced)
3 cloves of garlic (minced)
1 Madame Jeanette pepper (sliced)
1 knob ginger (sliced)
2 tomatoes (diced)
⅓ cup honey
½ cup vinegar
1 tablespoon cornstarch + 1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 sprigs of leek
Preparations
- Fry your onions and carrots together for 2 min.
- Then add your garlic, madame jeanette pepper and tomatoes and leave the mixture 2 min. to simmer.
- Then add the honey and vinegar and bring that to a boil.
- After that add your mixture of cornstarch and water to make it thicker. Stir it well.
- At last add 1 teaspoon of salt and black pepper. Mix everything well for 1 min. Turn off the stove and let cool.
- In a medium bowl add the 5 tbsp of cornstarch and TOK wings. Mix them together until completely coated, then season with salt and mix again.
- Fry the coated wings in oil at 375 ⁰Ⅽ for 5-6 min.
- Add your fried TOK wings and sauces to a bowl and mix until all TOK wings are coated in sauce.
